Disclosure Statement
Our work
Having noticed that Matt Cutts from Google has one of these I thought it would be useful to offer our own disclosure statement relating to the work that we do with Visit Wales and Cinch.
Beth and I share responsibility for the Digital Marketing Manager role and the management of a ten man digital marketing team at Visit Wales. We are currently employed by Welsh Assembly Government to deliver that role and it occupies on average 50% of each of our working weeks. Jon leads on strategic planning, integrated campaign planning across online and offline channels, evaluation and measurement. Beth leads on creative planning, executing the brand online and online user experience. Whilst we can be contacted in relation to this role via the contact details here our normal contact details are as follows;
Jon | 07776 162 131 | jon.munro@wales.gsi.gov.uk
Beth | 07775 797 390 | bethan.richards2@wales.gsi.gov.uk
The remainder of our time is spent working on Cinch. We have strict time recording in place to cover both the work we do with Visit Wales and the work we do on a specific client’s business via Cinch.
Conflict of Interest
Welsh Assembly Government have strict guidelines covering the potential conflict of interest that might arise from working in this way. The guidelines were put in place in relation to our contract following the movement of Wales Tourist Board into Welsh Assembly Government in April 2006. We adhere to these guidelines and we ensure that each new contract we take on via Cinch meets the requirement. For example, currently we are unable to work with national tourist boards in the UK and we cannot work with suppliers and agencies that are currently on the call down contracts we have in place to support our work at Visit Wales.
Any questions in relation to conflict of interest should be in the first instance directed to Jon Munro using the contact details above or the contact details here.
Our blog
Any of the statements or comments made on our blog should be regarded as personal to the blog author (s) and not necessarily those of Cinch Ltd or any connected body. Where our work with Visit Wales is concerned we do not blog about anything that is not already in the public domain and once again statements or comments should be regarded as personal.
